What we are looking for
Essential
- Experience working with an enterprise CRM / ESP platform (eg Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Campaign)
- Proven experience planning, delivering and optimising email marketing campaigns for B2C audiences
- Solid understanding of the multi-channel digital marketing mix
- Motivated self-starter with ability to organise and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence to present results and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Strong digital literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- A degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, business management, IT or digital media, or a related field
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive, anticipating problems and offering effective solutions
- Problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
- Excellent level of English language and grammar skills, with the ability to write and edit copy in a fast-paced publishing environment
Desirable
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Working knowledge of Photoshop (or similar)
- Experience working in an ecommerce environment
- Experience of delivering campaigns on other digital or performance marketing channels, such as paid social or paid display
- Knowledge of web analytics tools, preferably Google Analytics
- Understanding of marketing automation and principles of lifecycle marketing
- Understanding of A/B testing and performance marketing optimisation
- Keen interest in and knowledge of sport, specifically football
