Technical Engineer: Cabin Design – British Airways

Qualifications / experience

  • Ability to hold CAA approvals or BA company approvals (Essential)
  • HNC / HND or equivalent in an Aerospace Engineering subject (Essential)
  • Recognised Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience (Essential)
  • Degree in an Engineering subject (Desirable)
  • Detailed knowledge of the safety & quality management system
  • Detailed knowledge of regulations including CAA Part M, Part 145, CS.25 and Part 21.
  • Detailed knowledge of company processes and procedures applicable to the work environment and people
  • Detailed knowledge of at least one aircraft, or cabin product type design, mechanical & avionic systems, structures and materials.
  • Detailed knowledge of maintenance programmes, technical reliability and condition monitoring tools and processes.
