Megastore Team Leader – Chelsea FC

Chelsea FC is looking for a Megastore Team Leader to enhance the management of our retail store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Management

  • Operational Support: Assist the team in achieving efficient product receiving and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the store meets high visual presentation standards, adhering to brand guidelines and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
  • Initiative Execution: Take responsibility for the timely launch of monthly initiatives, providing regular feedback to optimize performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize reporting tools in collaboration with the department coach to inform commercial strategies and enhance decision-making.
  • Sales Performance: Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed sales and profit targets, driving overall store performance.

Athlete Experience

  • Team Development: Ensure team members are well-trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Hiring and Onboarding: Partner with senior store leadership in the recruitment process, including the development and execution of onboarding training programs.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Work closely with the store coach to implement efficient staff scheduling, optimizing team productivity.
  • Positive Workplace Culture: Collaborate with the store team to cultivate and maintain a positive and inclusive working environment.

Consumer Experience

  • Service Excellence: Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring the delivery of outstanding customer service that brings the consumer journey to life.
  • Resource Provision: Equip team members with essential brand knowledge and customer service expectations to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities for service enhancement, partnering with senior store leadership to implement improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Passion for Sports: A genuine enthusiasm for Chelsea FC and/or sports, enhancing your connection with our brand and customers.
  • Retail Experience: Proven experience in retail, preferably in a team leader role, with a track record of success in a similar environment.
  • Professional Communication: Strong ability to engage with customers and colleagues in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: A solid team player, committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Customer Service Expertise: Demonstrable experience in delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer inquiries effectively.
