Luggage Porter – Sofitel Hotel

Accor is looking for a Luggage Porter to ensure guest journey from begins and ends with a flawless experience. Your role is create memorable first impressions while exemplifying the sophistication and warmth that Sofitel is renowned for.

Roles

• Greets all guests at the front door politely and courteously and guide them towards the reception desk or function rooms.
• Assists guests with their luggage for both check-ins and check-outs.
• Carries guests’ luggage to the room upon check-in and check-out.
• Ensures that all guest property is safely handled and/or stored in the Luggage Room.
• Complies with standards of grooming, elegance and playfulness.
• Replaces Doorman at the door, whenever necessary.
• Handles vehicle parking for guests as per procedure.

Qualifications

• You must hold a valid driving licence and be entitled to work in the UK as this position is not eligible for sponsorship
• Previous experience as a Luggage Porter in a hotel would be beneficial but not essential
• A smart and professional appearance
• A positive attitude and good communication skills
• A willingness to take on physically demanding job
• Careful when driving guest’s cars
