HR Manager – InterContinental Hotel

IHG Hotels and Resorts has offering HR Manager post at InterContinental Hotel, responsible for leading the HR team and collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner and senior management to ensure best-in-class HR practices throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the HR team, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.
  • Manage complex employee relations (ER) cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management and grievance procedures.
  • Oversee recruitment and talent management to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Advise senior management and department heads on HR policies and best practices.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and high employee engagement through effective communication and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage HR reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular HR audits, recommending improvements to HR processes and systems.
  • Mentor and support the growth and development of the HR Coordinator and HR Advisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent professional HR qualification, or significant first hand HR experience.
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Strong generalist HR expertise across employee relations, recruitment, and HR operations.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring an HR team, with a focus on team member development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
