Accor is looking for a Waiter at Raffles Hotel for the day-to-day service of the restaurant in the brand’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing your tasks to the highest standards.
Duties
- You will promote positive colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and continuous feedback.
- You will be an effective communicator, who adheres to both legal/statutory responsibilities and Company Policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of menu and all products.
- Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
- Assisting the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
- Explaining the dishes to the clients with a knowledgeable and professional way.
- Checking in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed.
- Responsible for serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils.
- Ensuring food is served in accordance with safety standards.
- Informing restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests.
- Understanding and communicating the concept of the restaurant through service of the dishes.
- Committing the best possible sustainable practices daily in terms of waste management and purchasing.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
